Lei Yue Mun

Lei Yue Mun is located at the southeast of Yau Tong Industrial Area. It consists of four villages, among which the Lei Yue Mun village dates back to more than 150 years ago. In the past, the villagers were mainly fishermen, famers and miners. Lei Yue Mun has gradually developed into a world renowned seafood dining hub since the 1960s, attracting numerous locals and tourists to savour the delicacies it offers.

In addition to the reputable seafood dining, Lei Yue Mun also boasts its many special attractions and historical sites, such as the wishing tree, Lei Yue Mun Memorial Archway, Jocky Club Lei Yue Mun Plus and Lei Yue Mun Tin Hau Temple. The Tin Hau Temple in Lei Yue Mun was built over 200 years ago and is now recognised as a Grade III historical building. It was originally constructed to pray for smooth sailings to safeguard the fishermen and is still being worshipped by local villagers. If you visit Lei Yue Mun at around 4 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon, do not miss the beautiful sunset, which is also one of Lei Yue Mun's famous scenery.

How to get there
1) From Yau Tong MTR Station Exit A2, walk along Cha Kwo Ling Road for about 10-15 minutes.
2) Take bus route no. 14X to Sam Ka Tsuen ferry pier then walk for 10 minutes.
3) Take green minibus route no. 24 to Sam Ka Tsuen ferry pier then walk for 10 minutes.

Wilson Trail (Stage 3)

Wilson Trail (Stage 3) is one of hiking lovers' favourite spots. It extends uphill from Yau Tong, round the Devil's Peak, through Ma Yau Tong and reaches Tseng Lan Shue. The full trail is 9.3 kilometres in length and takes about 4 hours to complete. On the hilltop of Devil's Peak, there are remains of an old fortress and visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Tseung Kwan O and the Victoria Harbour there.

How to get there
From Yau Tong MTR Station Exit A1, take the escalator and walk through Domain. Outside Domain, walk along Lei Yue Mun Road towards Tseung Kwan O Chinese Permanent Cemetery. You are at the starting point of Wilson Trail (Stage 3) when you reach the road gate near the roundabout of Ko Chiu Road.
